Gallagher Licensed: On June 16, 2009 James A. Gallagher was licensed as an Architect in the State of California. Jim, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s architecture program, has been with Harvey Hacker Architects since 2005, managing residential projects (Date Street House in Montara; Duncan Street Condominiums; Pine Street garden addition), social service projects (Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center remodel; Turk Street Outpatient Substance Abuse Clinic), industrial projects (Yosemite Avenue Contractor’s warehouse, Oakdale Avenue printing shop), hospitality projects (Joie de Vivre SOMA hotels), and adaptive reuse projects (Francisco Street painter’s studio; Townsend Street warehouse-to-office conversion). |

Kolakowski LEED Accredited: On June 12, 2009 Alexandra Kolakowski became a LEED-NC accredited professional. Alex, who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture degree from Miami University of Ohio, joined the firm in 2008. She has managed residential projects (Boise solar house; Sanchez Street addition; Connecticut Street remodel), restaurant projects (Naan ‘n’ Curry; Goat Hill Pizza commissary), multi-family apartment projects (Citra Apartments retrofit in Santa Clara; Whipple Ave Apartments retrofit in Redwood City), and adaptive reuse projects (Doggie Day Care in San Rafael; Yosemite Avenue Seven-Up bottling plant conversion to PDR use). She is also responsible for the design and maintenance of Harvey Hacker Architects website. |
