Preliminary design sketch of view from street is also changed little in final built version. Quiet composition of stucco volumes, embellished by wood paneling at garage door, street wall, and entry, is intended to be compatible with neighboring houses, with little hint of the rear elevation’s flamboyant appearance. Entry is by zig-zag path through small walled garden. |
